Netflix's Lupin part 2 continues the cat-and-mouse game between Assane Diop & the Pellegrinis. Here's the cast & characters & where you've seen them.

Lupin season 2 hits Netflix on June 11 and will see its French cast of memorable characters return to the small screen; here are the actors in Lupin part 2 and who they play. The mystery thriller became the biggest-ever French-language series for Netflix, achieving breakout success across the world, particularly in North America. The first season of a limited five episodes released early last January and became a huge hit for the streaming platform, then continued strong with Netflix reporting that Lupin had been the most-watched show on the platform through the first quarter of 2021 (via THR).

Part of this is thanks to the tight pacing and taught storyline of the abbreviated season. Yet audiences were equally captivated by the strength of the performances of the cast. The talented actors really made the show what it is. Naturally, viewers were curious to see if everyone would return for season 2 and if any new faces would be added.

The wait is finally over for the second season. Here's a breakdown of Lupin season 2's cast and characters, including the actors who play them and where you might have seen them before.

Omar Sy as Assane Diop

Omar Sy returns as Assane Diop, the Parisian gentleman thief whose character is heavily influenced by the Arsène Lupin book series. Diop's life of crime is focused on revenge against the wealthy Pellegrini family, who years ago accused his father of a crime he didn't commit. The French actor is best known for a few big Hollywood tentpoles, including playing Bishop in X-Men: Days of Future Past, Barry in the Jurassic World franchise, and Perrault in last year's adaptation of The Call of the Wild.

Ludivine Sagnier as Claire

Ludivine Sagnier also returns as Claire in Lupin part 2 as Assane's ex-girlfriend and the mother of his child, Raoul. Claire has full custody of Raoul. Despite this and Assane's unsavory profession, Claire still harbors some feelings for him. Sagnier most recently appeared as Esther Aubry in The Young Pope and The New Pope. Others might recognize her from her role playing Tink in 2003's Peter Pan.

Clotilde Hesme as Juliette Pellegrini

Clotilde Hesme will once again be reprising her role as the daughter of Hubert and Anne Pellegrini, the couple who accused Assane's father of theft all those years ago. She befriended Assane as a teenager and also has feelings for the charming thief but has kept distance between them knowing it can't work. Hesme is a well-known French actress whose work includes 2016's Chocolat, A Woman's Life, and Three Worlds.

Soufiane Guerrab As Youssef Guedira

Soufiane Guerrab's Youssef Guedira also returns. In the first season, Guedira was the Paris police detective who puts two-and-two together and connects the similarities between Assane Diop's crimes and the fictional Arsène Lupin. He's best known for crime thriller District 13: Ultimatum, The Night Watchmen, and playing Rachid in supernatural French TV series Moloch.

Vincent Londez as Capitaine Romain Laugier

Vincent Londez will reprise his role as Capitaine Romain Laugier for season 2. He's the lead investigator for Assane's crimes and was tasked with retrieving the Pellegrinis' stolen diamond necklace. Londez is known for portraying Ivan Goldstein in Missions, Vincent Stassart in Public Enemy, and Horst Baudin in the Netflix series Into the Night.

Lupin Season 2 Supporting Cast

Etan Simon as Raoul - Raoul is Assane and Claire's young son. Lupin was actually Simon's acting debut.

Fargass Assandé as Babakar Diop - Assane's late father who worked for the Pellegrinis and was framed for theft. He appears in flashbacks. He's known for portraying portrayed Blackshouam in Eye of the Storm and Jean Ahitey in Cacao.

Antoine Gouy as Benjamin Ferel - Assane's childhood friend who works as a jeweler but really runs a black market ring. He's known for playing Bastien in the TV series Inside and Manu in I Love You.

Hervé Pierre as Hubert Pellegrini: The wealthy but corrupt businessman who employed Babakar. Hervé Pierre portrayed Le Medicin in Paris, je t'aime and Général Gonse in An Officer and a Spy.

Nicole Garcia as Anne Pellegrini: Hubert's wife who tried to help Babakar. She's best known for her roles of Janine Garnie in My American Uncle and Marie in Alias Betty.

Nicolas Wanczycki as Pascal Oblet - A mysterious figure that Hubert told Lupin he had hired to murder Leonard in the season 1 finale. He's know for playing Frédéric in Pros and Cons, Marc in Grand Hôtel and Foucalt in An Officer and a Spy.

Mamadou Haidara as young Assane Diop - Haidara made his acting debut in Lupin part 1.

Ludmilla Makowski as young Claire - Like Haidara, Makowski made her acting debut in Lupin part 1.

Lupin season 2 debuts on Netflix Friday, June 11.
