90 Day Fiance Couples That Proved Fans Wrong
Daniel Davis
Many spiritual communities in the United States have long-established traditions of going overseas and preaching to other communities and cultures. Missionary work has been around for centuries, and it's also resulted in more than one couple appearing on 90 Day Fiancé. In Season 3, that couple was Josh and Aleksandra Strobel — who proved fans wrong by making it work.
Josh and Aleksandra met while Josh was on a Mormon mission trip in Prague. The two fell in love, and quickly applied for the K-1 visa. At first, Josh and Aleksandra seemed to be sweet, if a little young. However, that quickly changed when it was revealed that Aleksandra had previously been a dancer at a club in Prague, and had converted to Mormonism for Josh.
Aleksandra didn't seem happy in her new life in America, and fans weren't convinced she would last long in the small, Mormon town she had moved to. But it all worked out, and Josh and Aleksandra have been happy together ever since. In fact, the two announced they were pregnant with their second child in 2018, and couldn't be cuter as parents.
