5 White Rabbit Clues That Point To Bray Wyatt (& 5 Other Wrestlers It Could Be)

Writer Emma Terry

WWE’s White Rabbit teases have been causing a huge buzz in interest within the online wrestling community, in what has emerged as one of the more creative and intriguing angles done in WWE for quite a long time. The several videos and teases seem to be pointing to either a return or a brand new gimmick for someone.

The biggest candidate is Bray Wyatt, with fans online doing a lot of work in putting together pieces of a complex jigsaw puzzle. However, until Bray Wyatt emerges, there will always be some level of doubt that it truly is him. There are some other candidates who it could be too, although they would almost certainly be underwhelming at this point.

10 Why It's Bray Wyatt: Who Killed The World? You Did

Bray Wyatt Interview with Michael Cole

One of WWE’s first White Rabbit QR codes led fans to a game of “hangman”, in which the question was posed, “Who Killed The World?” A white rabbit played the game, with the answer turning out to be “You Did”.

In an old Bray Wyatt interview, he poses a very similar question, stating “I didn’t make the world the way it is. You did.” This is almost far too similar to be a complete coincidence.

9 Who It Could Be: Dexter Lumis

Dexter Lumis is someone who recently returned to WWE programming, with his gimmick being one which is very odd and spooky at times. On the night of his return, there were a lot of shenanigans backstage, such as car accidents and such.

Whilst Lumis seems to be targeting only The Miz, he fits the bill for the type of person to orchestrate all of these strange goings on. It does seem as though Lumis’ return and the QR codes are disconnected, but they have shown up at pretty much the same time, so it has left some people to wonder.

8 Why It's Bray Wyatt: Red Lighting

In recent weeks, the song “White Rabbit” has been eerily playing throughout WWE arenas when the TV cameras are off, leading to some atmospheric fan footage.

At the end of the song, the arena becomes drenched in red light. During Bray Wyatt’s time as “The Fiend”, the red lighting would become a signature of his within matches, although many fans positively hated the lighting at times.

7 Who It Could Be: Alexa Bliss

If the White Rabbit does reveal itself to be Bray Wyatt, then there is every chance that Alexa Bliss becomes involved with him once again, reigniting their partnership. However, if Wyatt doesn’t return, then Bliss is a strong candidate, and there have been some subtle hints towards this.

In a promo, Bliss used what would usually be a throwaway line in a promo, but it turned out to be a line from the “White Rabbit” song. In addition, the lighting in the arena has glitched now and again in Bliss’ matches, which once again seems too much of a coincidence to just be a production accident.

6 Why It's Bray Wyatt: Ramblin’ Rabbit

Ramblin Rabbit

Bray Wyatt and rabbits are two things which have been connected before. In Wyatt’s “Firefly Funhouse”, one of the recurring characters was Ramblin’ Rabbit, who seemed to portray Wyatt’s old promo style in which he was accused of being nothing more than just inherently rambling.

The “White Rabbit” has brought about talk of Ramblin’ Rabbit once again, with the animal acting as a very strong link to Wyatt.

5 Who It Could Be: Aleister Black

Aleister Black

AEW’s Malakai Black (the former Aleister Black), has been the subject of a lot of talk recently, with there being hints that he wanted away from AEW to join WWE, with Fightful Select reporting that he had asked for his release.

Whilst it seems as though he is sticking around in AEW, fans have spotted that in the source code of one of the White Rabbit teases, the words “No man is ever truly good, No man is ever truly evil” are written. These were notably lyrics to Black’s old WWE theme song, leading fans to speculate.

4 Why It's Bray Wyatt: Self, Arkansas

These teases have sent fans into a frenzy, as fans have delved into Wyatt’s history, with many of Wyatt’s old tweets resurfacing. One of which has gotten some attention, where Wyatt asked for details on the “Devil’s Hole” in Self, Arkansas.

When looking into this, a forum emerged about the Devil’s Hole from seventeen years ago. The name of the moderator was “The White Rabbit”.

3 Who It Could Be: Edge

WWE-Judgement Day-Edge

There have been some clues in the White Rabbit teases which could refer to the Judgment Day faction, meaning that these teases could well be Edge finding himself a new gimmick to enact revenge.

For example, one tease has spelled out the word “Demon”, which could be in reference to Finn Balor, another is the word “Patricide”, which could refer to Dominik Mysterio turning on his father, and a recent yet unconfirmed leak has some reference to Tic Tac Toe, which is the name of Rhea Ripley’s finisher.

2 Why It's Bray Wyatt: The Text Font

In the aforementioned game of hangman, the words “You Did” are written out in a very specific font, one which only matches up to one other font.

That font is on one of Bray Wyatt’s old WWE t-shirts, which shows the words “Find Me”. The easiest letter to pinpoint as being the exact same is the “D”, but it is quite clear that these fonts match up near perfectly, if not absolutely exactly. This could be a heavy hint which implies Bray Wyatt’s impending return.

1 Who It Could Be: Karrion Kross

The top contender for the “White Rabbit” outside of Bray Wyatt is Karrion Kross. Kross recently returned to the WWE sporting a darker gimmick, with the arena often drenched in black and white lighting upon his arrival.

He also happened to be known as “The White Rabbit” during his time in Lucha Underground, which makes it feel like a big possibility. Another hint is an hourglass which has popped up in some of the teases, with the hourglass being a major part of Kross’ gimmick. In addition, the several Alice in Wonderland references include the concept of time, which again is what Kross’ gimmick is all about.
