10 Former TNA Knockouts With The Most Instagram Followers

Writer Emma Terry

While the in-ring success of these former TNA Knockouts may vary, they all share one thing in common: a massive social media presence. After their time in TNA came to an end, many of these women went on to find even more success in the WWE, while others chose to live (relatively) normal lives.

Regardless of the path they chose, all of their lives are still very much in the public eye due to their substantial social media following. This allows their loyal fanbases to keep up with their everyday lives, even after they have moved on from the company. Without further ado, let's see which former Knockouts have developed the biggest following on Instagram.

10 Santana Garrett: 185k Followers

Santana Garrett is currently signed to the WWE for the NXT brand. She is an Instagram model and social media influencer with nearly 200k followers.

She has almost 2,700 posts, most of which are photos of her with her husband and dog or pictures from her modeling photoshoots.

9 Gail Kim: 207k Followers

Gail Kim has just over 1,100 posts and 200k followers on Instagram. Many of her posts consist of wrestling shots and photoshoots, pictures of her with her husband, and pictures of her with her with fellow wrestlers that she has grown close to over the course of her career in both major wrestling companies.

Kim has been working as a producer for TNA since she retired from action. She is one of the greatest TNA Knockouts in history. She owns the record for the most Knockout Championship title reigns with seven.

8 Velvet Sky: 274k Followers

Velvet Sky has 758 posts and nearly 275k followers on Instagram. Her modeling photoshoots make up most of her posts, but she also has quite a few posts involving shots of nature and beautiful landscapes.

The former member of The Beautiful People is still wrestling in Ring Of Honor to this day. She is currently in a stable named The Allure with her former TNA partner Angelina Love and Mandy Leon.

7 Lisa Marie Varon: 317k Followers

Lisa Marie Varon has over 3,600 posts and 317k subscribers on Instagram. She is the co-host, alongside fellow former TNA Knockouts Valerie Wyndham (SoCal Val) and Mickie James, of GAWTV (Grown *** Women TV) and many of her posts are related to that.

Varon was able to take her status as a professional wrestler and use it to her advantage after her retirement from the sport in 2019. Her entrepreneurial spirit is on display throughout her entire Instagram page.

6 Tessa Blanchard: 435k Followers

Tessa Blanchard has 1828 posts and 435k followers on Instagram. Most of her posts consist of modeling photoshoots, in-ring shots, and workout pictures and videos.

Unfortunately, she was let go by Impact Wrestling after she took a leave of absence in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. The 24-year-old still has her entire wrestling career ahead of her, and she has capitalized on each of her opportunities to this point. She is currently wrestling for both the Lucha Libre Worldwide and Women of Wrestling.

5 Mia Yim: 451k Followers

Mia Yim has nearly 6,700 posts and over 450k followers on Instagram. The content on her page ranges from her workout photos, to wrestling shots, to pictures of her English Bulldog Stannis.

Yim is currently wrestling for WWE on their NXT brand, where she is one of the most dominant young female competitors in the company.

4 Chelsea Green: 511k Followers

Chelsea Green has 1,851 posts and over half a million followers on Instagram. Most of her content consists of her modeling photos and pictures of her and her boyfriend and fellow wrestler Zack Ryder.

The 29-year-old was often involved in some downright silly gimmicks during her time in TNA, and that played a factor in her requesting her release from the company. She did win the Knockout Championship once during her short tenure though. Green is currently signed to the WWE on their NXT brand as well, and she has looked impressive since jumping over to the company in late 2018.

3 Maria Kanellis: 945k Followers

Maria Kanellis has over 3,700 posts and 945k followers on Instagram. Kanellis' bio sums up her perfectly: "From sexy photos to event planning. From parenting baby pics & podcasting. This is the hub to all things ME!"

Unfortunately Kanellis was released from her contract amid the COVID-19 pandemic as WWE was dealing with serious budget issues due to the lack of recent income. It is unclear where she will look to go in her career from here, as she could look to settle down with her family. From the look of her bio it seems one would know just where to go to find out what decision she will make.

2 Thea Trinidad: One Million Followers

Thea Trinidad has 1896 posts and over 1 million followers on Instagram. Her content ranges from gaming, to art, to her modeling photoshoots. She also mentions in her bio that she is partnered with Twitch, which is a popular game streaming service.

Trinidad, who goes by the name Zelina Vega in the WWE, was severely underutilized in TNA over the course of her two years with the company. On the other hand, it seems that the WWE knows what they have in her, as she has become one of the top female competitors in the entire company.

1 Mickie James: One Million Followers

Mickie James has nearly one thousand posts and over one million followers on Instagram. Much of her Instagram is centered around her modeling work, but there are also quite a few posts dedicated to her family and others featuring GAWTV, which she is also a co-host of.

James had a few stints with both the WWE and TNA, and has always been a fan favorite no matter what company or brand she is a member of. She will surely be a Hall of Famer when she is done with the business, potentially for both companies. She is also one of the most profitable names that the female wrestling industry has ever seen.
