10 Forgotten Wrestling Children: Where Are They Now?
Isabella Bartlett
While plenty of sons and daughters sometimes choose to follow in their parents footsteps, there not always success stories. As far as the wrestling industry is concerned, that choice is put under an even greater microscope due to the unending sea of fans who have high hopes for your own success.

Unfortunately, not every next generation talent can ascend to the upper echelon like a Natalya, Orton, Flair, or Reigns. Not everyone is cut out to be a part of the business, even if they have it in their genes. For whatever the reason, they opted not to pursue their career and have found livelihoods elsewhere.
10 Shaul Guerrero
While he was beloved during his in-ring career, tragically it was only in his passing that fans started to realize that Eddie Guerrero belongs on any and all Mount Rushmore statues as possible.
His daughter Shaul wanted to maybe drive her dad’s low riders to the ring one day. She got her start in FCW, but left due to health issues. For fans in the Chicago area, she works a burlesque dancer - Miss Nyxon.
9 Lacey Von Erich
One might think that after all that has happened to The Von Erich family in wrestling that the grandchildren of Fritz Von Erich would want to steer as far away from a career in the ring as humanly possible. But the ring came calling for Lacey Von Erich - the daughter of The Texas Tornado.

She got her start in FCW as the first ever third generation Von Erich before heading to TNA. Nowadays, she front up her own company - Adkisson Advertising since the late aughts.
8 Erik Watts
While everyone on this list unfortunately didn’t live up to their parents’ namesakes, only one flunked so terribly that he is the template for what NOT to when following in your dad’s shoes. When Bill Watts was running WCW, he thought it would be a good idea to heave his son, Erik into the fire. But being a boss’ kid who just isn’t ready for prime time - and the wrestlers and fans alike know it - make it really hard to succeed.
Erik Watts then tried his hand in a tag team - Techno Team 2000, but that never caught traction either. Even in 2023, Watts still makes the occasional indie show, but mostly can be seen online cheering on his daughter who is in the Navy.
7 Shawn Stasiak
As the son of a former WWWF Heavyweight Champion, Stan The Man Stasiak, hopes were high for Shawn Stasiak to at least come close to replicating his father’s success. After all, looks wise, Shawn Stasiak was carved out of granite - everything Vince McMahon would want from a member of his roster.
But after it was discovered that the guy was recording conversations, he was relegated to comedy fodder. As Meat, he was abused by PMS until he headed to WCW, where he didn’t do much better there either. Thankfully for Planet Stasiak, he was able to make a life for himself as a successful Chiropractor.
6 Big Sean Studd
As one of the early Golden Era monsters fed to both Hulk Hogan and Andre The Giant, Big John Studd has a special place in WWE history. He also holds the distinction of being the winner of the first ever 30 man Royal Rumble.

His son Sean Studd hasn’t been so fortunate. He has plenty of time left to get to the big leagues though. Trained by Booker T, Big Sean Studd has been getting steady work on the Indy circuit since getting his start in 2015.
5 Colt And Teal Toombs
For nearly 40 years, the number one mouth that roared, and wrestling villain was the Hot Rod Rowdy Roddy Piper. He was the first really great bad guy who was loved for his heel antics. But behind the scenes, he was a loving family man - a father of five, including Colt and Teal Toombs.
Both of Hot Rod’s children are working on carving their own path in Sports Entertainment. Teal most recently appeared with her husband and trainer Daimos on WWE Most Wanted Treasures on a quest to find some of her father’s old memorabilia.
4 Ted DiBiase Jr.
After spending a stint in WWE Developmental, both Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase Jr. were slingshotted into the deepest end of the pool. Into a faction with Randy Orton and a main event feud with Degeneration X.

But while Cody longed for more and showcased the talent to try and get more, for whatever the reasons, Teddy opted for the simpler, quieter life. Unfortunately in the last year it has been revealed that the DiBiases were involved in a money laundering scheme and are being sued by the state of Mississippi to recover funds. Ted Jr. is looking at least 20 years if convicted.
3 Amy Hennig
With as rough as Larry The Ax was in the ring and as silky smooth as Mr. Perfect was in the ring, it’s a shame that the WWE doesn’t have any active Hennigs on their roster. While Joe had the opportunity on the main roster, but his sister Amy had not been so lucky.
Despite the pedigree of being a third generation superstar and being trained by Harley Race, WWE took a quick look in the early 2010s, but that was all. Other than her brief career, there is zero information about what she has been up to these past few years other than living the quieter life.
2 Tiger Ali Singh
From the territory days, one of the bigger stars of the era was Tiger Jeet Singh. He got his start with the Tunneys in Canada and made a splash in Japan. So hopes were pretty high for his son Tiger Ali Singh. Especially since he was given an Attitude Era updated version of The Million Dollar Man gimmick.

Unfortunately, he didn’t quite make the splash that WWE had hoped. He has made a bigger splash outside the ring in his hometown of Ontario, starting The Miracle On Main Street and Tiger Jeet Foundations, collecting toys for children’s hospitals.
1 David Flair
Getting thrust right into the fire department was the son of The Nature Boy, David Flair. David actually had a few decent storylines in the dying days of WCW. But after a stint in WWE developmental, he opted not to follow in the footsteps of Ol’ Slick Ric.
He instead is a family man who runs the family business Seal Wire; which deals in copper and steel wiring.
