10 Early Match Predictions For WWE Money In The Bank 2023
Emma Terry
On the back of the successful and well-received Night Of Champions 2023 PPV, WWE’s next event coming up is Money in the Bank, which will be emanating from London, England in Wembley Arena. Aside from the two Money in the Bank ladder matches, no bouts have been announced as yet, which makes it interesting to predict the card.

This will look at the potential fields for each ladder match, in addition to other matches too. Based on some storylines, there are multiple options when it comes to certain wrestlers, so don’t be surprised to see names crop up more than once here.
10 Men’s Money In The Bank Field
Shinsuke Nakamura and Ricochet earned their spots in the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match already, with LA Knight likely to defeat Montez Ford to earn his spot too. It isn’t clear how many wrestlers will compete, but a safe bet of four from each brand would make sense.
Other names could well include the likes of Damian Priest, Chad Gable, Cameron Grimes, Grayson Waller, and even Edge, who isn’t doing anything of note right now. A mixture of experience and potential would do well to fill up this field.
9 Women’s Money In The Bank Field
Only a couple of qualifying matches have been announced so far and the best bet of the lot will see Zelina Vega make it to the match. Other potential candidates could include Michin, Bianca Belair, Piper Niven, Candice LeRae, Raquel Gonzalez, and Shotzi.
All of these women are looking to gain some momentum, either on the back of losses or on the back of not really doing much. A returning Charlotte Flair could also feature if she comes back in time.
8 Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn Vs. Imperium
The seeds have already been sown for an Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship match between Giovanni Vinci & Ludwig Kaiser of Imperium and the champions Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn.
Over the last few episodes of Raw, the four men have gotten in each other’s way. Zayn & Owens have already defeated the pair, but with tensions ramping up, a rematch could well be in store for Money in the Bank.
7 GUNTHER Vs. Matt Riddle
After Matt Riddle helped Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens defeat Imperium on Raw a couple of weeks ago, tension has begun to rise between Riddle and the Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER.

This feels like the next big challenge for GUNTHER to overcome as he looks to dethrone the Honky Tonk Man of the longest-ever IC Title reign in history. Riddle and GUNTHER will have a hard-hitting bout that is worthy of a PPV.
6 Roman Reigns Vs. Jimmy Uso
There are a couple of options when it comes to The Bloodline storyline at Money in the Bank, the first of which could well be a singles match between Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
Whilst Jey Uso has gotten a chance to shine in singles action in 2020, it could well now be Jimmy’s time to try his hand in a major title match. At Night of Champions, Jimmy was the one to pull the trigger and turn against Reigns, meaning that Reigns’ fury could be targeted solely toward him for now.
5 Becky Lynch Vs. Zoey Stark
At Night of Champions, Zoey Stark shocked fans as she aligned herself with Trish Stratus to help her defeat Becky Lynch. With Stratus and Lynch’s story likely to conclude at SummerSlam, a match with Stark will help fill the gap on the way to the summer.
Having a big singles PPV match with a star on the scale of Lynch would be a great way to fully introduce Stark to the main roster too.
4 Austin Theory Vs. Sheamus
Austin Theory has already scored a victory over Sheamus for the United States Championship, but it came with shenanigans and a distraction. This will likely lead to a rematch.
Having Sheamus compete for a title on another UK PPV after the huge support he got at Clash at the Castle is the way to go, especially if he ends up getting a big victory this time around.
3 Seth Rollins Vs. Damian Priest
Seth Rollins has been feuding with The Judgment Day over the last few weeks, and the group recently made their intentions clear that they want the new World Heavyweight Championship. Rollins has already faced Finn Balor numerous times, so it could be Damian Priest’s time to step up.
A report from WRKD Wrestling on Twitter stated that Priest is now viewed as a potential main-eventer, so expect to see him at the top of the card at some point.
2 Cody Rhodes Vs. Brock Lesnar
With Brock Lesnar’s part-time schedule and Cody Rhodes’ storyline injury, WWE could well be putting off this match until SummerSlam. However, Rhodes cut an impassioned promo on the Raw after Night of Champions, indicating that their rubber match will come soon.

It could well be at Money in the Bank, especially if WWE wants to stack the UK event with a big name like Lesnar.
1 Roman Reigns & Solo Sikoa Vs. The Usos
As noted, there is more than one direction that WWE can go for Money in the Bank, and this tag team bout is the second option. Roman Reigns & Solo Sikoa are currently on one side of The Bloodline fence, whereas The Usos are on the other.
This match all depends on whether WWE wants to have another big event without Reigns defending his world title. If this ends up being the case, this would be the third show in a row without WWE’s top prize on the line.
